The Mudhens displayed our Chicago-based modules at the Pittsburgh NNGC, in a layout such as that shown below.   We had a great time in Pittsburgh!

No. 10  with a mixed train gingerly crosses the High Bridge on John Massura's Lost Canyon  module.

The headlight in the distance  is a slow-moving train, approaching Port Royal.  Dean Smith (center) has the throttle, as Craig Crombar (right) looks on and Mike McKenzie (left) tends to other matters.

Life is peaceful in the town of Elk Park on Craig Crombar's  beautiful module.

A train of logs waits in the hole at  Sneffels, one of John Massura's modules.

It's train time in Elk Park.

A doodlebug pulls a lone box car  behind the town of Elk Park, toward a tunnel through the ridge.

There's lots of activity at Smelter and Sneffels.  Both modules are built by John Massura.

Things are quiet for the time being at Port Royal on  George Pierson's Tuscarora Valley module.  In the distance is Craig Crombar's covered bridge on the ET & WNC.

A passenger train slides behind the downtown at Elk Park.

No. 10 pulls a mixed train across the truss bridge on John Massura's Lost Canyon module.  The second track was pulled from the bridge, and was replaced with a highway - a sign of things to come?
